Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using LegalDeep AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use LegalDeep AI for an organization, firm, company, school, or client, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization or that you are using the service only in your individual capacity. If you do not agree, do not use LegalDeep AI.
Description of service
LegalDeep AI provides legal research, document search, citation display, drafting support, and workspace tools. The service is intended to support legal research and legal work, but it is not a law firm, attorney, legal representative, or substitute for professional legal judgment.
No legal advice
- LegalDeep AI does not provide legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship.
- Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for a specific jurisdiction, court, client, matter, or deadline.
- Users must independently verify citations, deadlines, procedural requirements, source currency, jurisdiction, and factual assumptions before relying on any output.
- Attorneys and other legal professionals remain responsible for all legal judgment, filings, advice, communications, and work product.
User responsibilities
- Use LegalDeep AI only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable professional, ethical, confidentiality, privacy, and court rules.
- Upload or submit documents only if you have the right and authority to process them through LegalDeep AI.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, malicious, or intended to compromise the service.
- Do not misrepresent your identity, affiliation, role, licensing status, or authority to act for another person or organization.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Documents and user content
You retain ownership of content you submit to LegalDeep AI, including prompts, outputs, uploaded documents, workspace data, and matter information. You grant LegalDeep AI the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, index, search, and otherwise use that content solely to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the service as described in our policies.
Third-party services and sources
LegalDeep AI may rely on third-party infrastructure, AI models, databases, file storage, payment processors, authentication providers, and legal or web sources. Third-party content and services may be unavailable, incomplete, inaccurate, changed, or subject to separate terms. LegalDeep AI does not endorse every source or guarantee that every relevant authority will be found.
Subscriptions and payments
Paid features may require a subscription, usage-based payment, or other purchase. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown at checkout or in the applicable plan terms. Payment information may be handled by third-party payment processors.
Service changes and availability
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time. We may also limit or suspend access to protect the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, or address technical or security issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Disclaimer of warranties
LegalDeep AI is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and suitability for any specific legal matter.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LegalDeep AI and its affiliates, providers, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, professional liability, missed deadlines, adverse legal outcomes, or reliance on service outputs.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these terms, created risk for the service or other users, failed to pay required fees, or used the service in a way that may expose LegalDeep AI to legal, security, or operational risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates are effective when posted. Continued use of LegalDeep AI after an update means you accept the revised terms.
